Japandroids and the Joys of Crowd Surfing

The stage diving started later. Webster Hall, Tuesday December 4, 2012

I first crowd surfed at a They Might Be Giants concert during my freshman year at Syracuse University in 1992.

I can’t remember the last time I actually saw crowd surfing and stage diving at a show. Maybe it’s because I’m pushing 40 and am really into NPR type wine-and-cheese bands like The National.
